Lisbon & Belem

Let´s take a walk through the historical centre of Lisbon and learn urban history and legends. Furthermore, we will visit area of Belem, where we will appreciate the amazing views of Tagus River.

The centre of Lisbon is unusual, because when the city itself has more than 2000 years history, most buildings in the centre are not older than 250 years. This situation is connected with the earthquake, which happened in 1755. However, it doesn’t mean that centre isn’t beautiful. On the other side it is has its own unique style and charm. Buildings, which were built by Marques Pombal are remarkable.

We will walk through the beautiful streets and squares, and you will be able to add a lot of beautiful photos into your phone camera roll.

Few centuries ago it was a seaport in the surroundings of Lisbon from which caravels were leaving Portugal in search of new colonies. Later it became one of the Lisbon neighborhoods. Nowadays, a lot of people come here to see historical monuments, visit museums and try famous pasteis de Belem.

Beautiful view of the Tagus River, unforgettable Jeronimos monastery and Belem Tower are waiting for you there.
